       Amazon test new project FBA Onsite, the seller can save up to 85% shipping

      In an effort to give sellers more efficient warehousing and transportation options, Amazon is testing a new service, FBA Onsite, that allows sellers to use Amazon's software and logistics systems into their own warehouses.

     Among Amazon's invitations to sellers, Amazon said the project is a "groundbreaking" initiative that combines the advantages of its current logistics program with shipping costs for sellers. Amazon's invitation also pointed out that the program will continue to improve based on user feedback.

     FBA Onsite project will greatly reduce the cost of sellers freight, I believe it can attract more sellers to join Amazon Prime two days delivery plan.

     For sellers, FBA Onsite will save them significantly on shipping costs because they no longer have to send their inventory to Amazon's warehouse. Amazon also gives sellers the advantage of low-cost shipping it gets from shipping companies. A seller said he can use Amazon's own FedEx, UPS account, receive up to 85% shipping discount.

      Although Amazon offers the seller the Seller Fulfilled Prime service, which allows sellers to ship directly from their warehouses, but can not enjoy lower shipping costs. "FBA Onsite will allow Amazon to achieve substantial sales growth without additional costs," a seller said. Chad Rubin, co-founder of e-commerce software maker Skubana, said FBA Onsite will help sellers worry about warehouse management, which is a headache for most sellers, after all. Chad Rubin also noted that sellers are reluctant to join Amazon's Seller Fulfilled Prime because it costs too much to ship for two days from the seller's own warehouse. And Amazon is likely to provide sellers with their own trucks and staff for Amazon distribution system testing, bypassing the USPS these third-party logistics, providing the last mile delivery.
