      The Dragon Boat Festival is the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.
      Dragon Boat Race is an important activity of the Dragon Boat Festival and is very popular in South China. As Midsummer ascends, May is Midsummer, and its first noonday is the day of the good weather for ascending Shunyang.
Therefore, May 5th is also known as the "Dragon Festival."


      Since ancient times, there have been dragon boat festivals and food festivals during the Dragon Boat Festival. Qu Yuan, the poet of the State of Chu (now Hubei) in the Warring States period, swept the Luo River and died on that day. The ruler established the Dragon Boat Festival as a festival to commemorate Qu Yuan.
     The Dragon Boat Race has a long history and has been circulating for more than two thousand years. It is a traditional folk water sports entertainment project in China.
It is a group of people paddling collectively. In the Dragon Boat Race, there are many dragon boat songs singing and promoting.
     After passing abroad, it was deeply loved by people of all countries and formed an international competition.

     For Dragon Boat Festival the Chinese usually eat zongzi and various other foods below, depending on the region.
It is a traditional custom for Chinese to eat zongzi, a kind of sticky rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves.Zongzi are usually made of glutinous rice with meat or some other filling, and wrapped in bamboo leaves in the shape of a triangular pyramid. They are many different flavors and shapes of zongzi available.


Dumplings is another traditional practice of the Chinese people.
